Great!!!  I can't wait to see your review and how you like it.  Lots of questions pending... the thing looks really great but it is a big investment.

I was going to shave about 6-8 inches off my stock 2012 screen for the reasons mentioned by these guys (cooler, get rid of the annoying buffeting).  Anybody shaved their screen?  How did it work out? Thoughts on saving ($free) vs. this this screen ($500)?

Love mine. Cut down the stock screen but have a second for touring.

I'd like to cut down a shield for the hot weather we have down here. I would like to find someone that has a Gen1 shield taking up space in their garage and wants to get it out of their way. Really looking for local to North Texas and cheap.  :-[

Ohh, I like. Did you cut the vent to the shape of the Cal-sci vents? did that help?
