Puppies dogs and rainbows!

I know Cee Bailey offers some of their screens in smoked, and MRA Vario. Might be worth a look to see if you like the looks of those.

Have you contacted CalSci yet? I have had no issue with mine. It cured the buffeting and back pressure problem that existed with the stock shield. That would be my first course of action. They are a good company. Give them the chance to rectify the situation. You can keep debating it here but CalSci will be the ones that need to help.

He did. ..

"I can tell from all the positive comments made here and everywhere else I looked, that CalSci is a good, honest, reputable outfit - and that's why I chose them in the first place.  Chances are this is just one of those times when a bad unit made it out the shop door.  All the more evident by what appears, from reading replies to my inquiry, to be an isolated incident. I have sent CalSci a request for refund and explained why.  As suggested (and expected) they have agreed to take it back.  "

And I looked and looked and looked for that before I posted and completely missed it.  :banghead: More coffee and sleep is needed.

More coffee and sleep is needed.

Those two are opposed.
Perhaps less coffee for more sleep?

Have you selected an alternate shield option yet? Just saw a new post of a guy playing with a ZX screen. Sounds like he did a lot to make it work, but its definitely unique. http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=14972.0

I saw that, and it certainly looks nice!

What I'm thinking is to get an 08-09 screen and see how I like that as a hot weather screen and if it's not cool enough, trim it down.

Just bought one used on this forum a couple weeks ago.
Had to add a couple extra washers, no problem.
It certainly looks cooler than the stock one.  I like it.
