So we don't need the flies?  ???

The secondary butterflies are there to "tame" the throttle control (since we Sport Touring types can't handle a 1400) and are also used as half the traction control system (the other half being the ignition control).

They can be removed to improve throttle response a lot at low RPM.  If you use a Ghul flash, it will program them to open them immediately for the same effect but with no loss to the traction control system.
Shoodaben (was Guhl) Mountain Runner ECU flash, Canyon Cages front/rear, Helibars risers, Phil's wedges, Grip Puppies, Sargent World seat-low & heated & pod, Muzzy lowering links, Soupy's stand, Nautilus air horn, Admore lightbar, Ronnie's highway pegs, front running lights, all LED, helmet locks, RAM Xgrip, Sena SMH10, Throttle Tamer, MRA X-Creen, BearingUp Shifter, PR4-GT, Scorpion EXO-T1200,etc

I know about the secondary butterflies. That was my motivation for removing then and installing the PC. The PC not being necessary is news. This is good to know. Some day when I have time on my hands I will remove my PC and give it a try. I could have saved some money by not installing a PC.

Another reason to hug my 08'.  :)

How did you come to the conclusion you don't need the PC from this thread?
