Mounting a Scala G9 on a Schuberth C3
« on: July 09, 2013, 02:32:09 PM »
Any ideas??  Looks like you have to use the adhesive pad.  I might go with some heavy duty Velcro.
Scala says that since the G9 has to sit further back, because of the visor switch, you might have to use the Hybrid Boom Mic?  Has anyone used this product?

I think Steve has that setup, if he doesn't come along soon you should shoot him a PM.

Possible velcro solution:  http://www.andybaird.com/travels/gertie/superlock.htm
Seems to be better than regular velcro.
It needs to hold at highway speeds, approx 75-80 mph and an occasional 130 mph when overtaking slower vehicles - that's my justification.....
