Oil capacity
« on: June 07, 2013, 03:50:59 PM »
Thought I had this figured out, but in my owners manual in the section discussing changing oil it has the spec of 3.2 quarts with filter.  Now in the specifications in the front under capacities it has 3.9 qts with filter.  Checked the service manual and it is 3.2.    :P :yikes:

Your going to use the sight glass anyway. Dont forget, there are 2 drain plugs.

3.7 after engine disassembly
3.0 liters with filter change
2.7 liters without filter change
If you still have fuel in the tank, you are not lost yet

That's correct. You're absolutely right.

Thanks guys.  Had to go to a conversion table to get answer, 3.0 liters is 3.17 quarts.  No wonder my sight glass was always full.  :yikes:
