I put a set of stock rear pegs on the front. I had a lowered set but they dragged a lot.  :)


I was going to go back to the stock front pegs, but they are too far forward for me. All it took was a few parts from the hardware store and an extra set of rear pegs.



I haven't readjusted the brake or shifter yet, but it's really not too bad the way it is.

That was one of the first mods I did to my 01 when I got it in the spring of 02 was to install a set of pegs pulled from the first year BMW K bikes; I got several sets of them brand new back in the early 80's and have been using them ever since. I really like the slightly tucked under you position the straight pegs give; while I might be turning 50 this year I still prefer a sporting like stance....
