Vario vs. Murph's foot pegs.

I am stuck on whether to get vario pegs with the rubber inserts or Murph's pegs. I'm thinking it would nice to have rubber on the peg for grip. any advice?

The Varios are nice but the rubber wears pretty fast.   Oh, and they are expensive.
