Very much so, except I do the final drive every other change, and I am known to sip on my Kentucky Bourbon instead of beer. I even have a fridge in the garage for beer, I am too lazy to go into the house. I have a slop sink in the garage as well, it has been used as a pisser more than one time too.  ;D

I do have a small fridge here at work, I should take it home. It'll save me time on those oil changes. No sink in the garage, lots of trees out back though...

Got it! Drink a six pack, then measure. :-X
Obviously, my problem is my drinking preference - I like Bourbon. ;)

There you go.   ;)

PSA.  If you have a 55 profiled tire will the oil level be off?

If you have a '55 series tire and the bike is laying on the ground, yep. Otherwise, not so much so that you'd notice.

The quality of Bourbon is important, you must share with me your preference. I can give ya some good recommendations as well. I initially drain on the centerstand until the dripping stops, then I lower to side stand and typically some more will come out. I put in 2 quarts of Castrol 20W50 RS 4T and then top off the rest with T6 Rotella........shifts like butta!!!
I drink some fairly decent $hit. Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage, Jim Beam Devil's Cut, Elijah Craig 12 Year... the list goes on. For Valentine's day the wife bought me a bottle of Booker's Barrel Proof - 128 proof! The C14 would probably have liked it.

BTW I like your engine oil cocktail idea too.

We answered the original question, so now we are onto much better lubricant options.

Beer. I have to drink a few while I wait for the oil to drip drip drip.  ;)

I don't know what to tell you Lather. Prior to changing the oil I take the bike for a nice ride to get everything warm/hot. Drink a beer. Put her up on the CS, remove the oil drain bolt. Drink a beer. Remove the oil filter. Drink a beer. I then remove the oil filler for the rear drive and then the drain bolt. Drink a beer. By now it's time to go in the house and get another beer and some peanuts. I take said beer and peanuts out to the garage and see if she's done dripping. If not, there's always something else to do while I wait, guess what that is? Ok, by now I'm starting to get a good buzz going and it's time to reverse the above procedure. No reversing the beers though or the riding part while I have the beer buzz going. I always measure out exactly 4.5 quarts of oil and dump that in. The oil shows just a fraction below the top line in the sight window.
Same here. I wait forever to make sure the oil is settled for the rear drive. It seems to always want a little more after 10 minutes of sitting.
The grass isn't always greener.
