« on: April 07, 2013, 05:07:19 AM »
this would be on the bike, slight chance off. I know back home there can be a huge on the  the bike price difference. tire would be needed before next weekend, most likely beginning of the week.( have 1100mile super slab after having fun this week)

bike is an 09, preferably a 55 series,
any help would be much appreciated.
thanks

If your playing in the Tail of the Dragon area, why not let Wheeler's get some business.

Wheeler's Performance
2035 Tapoco Rd, Robbinsville, NC
(828) 479-4998

Also, Motorcyclesuperstore.com has a preferred installer program where you order the tires from them and they get delivered to the installer who charges a negotiated fee to install.  That could at least help you find available installers near where you are.

Mikeridewnc runs a shop that is supposed to have great prices on tires and mounting.
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

How about Ken's Cycles, Hwy 36, north of Johnson City.  Good inventory, good prices, and can install it while you wait.  Unfortunately closed on Mondays.  It's where I got the last set for my C10.  HTH

Spoke with both kens cycle and wheelers, wow both super nice and great picing. Since I had a tic of good left in the tire I spent the day heading west and having fun getting lost. Called ahead and wheelers had two different 55 tires on hold for me. Anotler run and back through the dragon, all loaded up this time, slid more but still fun. They changed at on the bike right away, super nice kid, very pleased.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, helped lots. The msta guys I rode with down here liked kens cycle too, and laughed how the phone is always busy. I got through first thing in the morning.
