The new Michelin Pilot Power 3
« on: April 03, 2013, 08:37:58 PM »
Has anyone tried the new Michelin Pilot Power 3 yet? I just ordered up a set today for my Gixxer, seems these are replacing the Michelin Pure Power tires which are now as of a couple weeks ago discontinued...

Did you already burn through that Pirelli? How many miles did you get out of that?

I was looking at them (Michelin Pilot Power 3) and noticed that their load rating was a little lower than the Pilot Road 3's (73 vs. 75). So after checking, that's a 47lbs. weight differance (73=805lbs, 75=853lbs per a website I found).

Yes I know it's only a 47lbs. differance, but that "may" be a issue for some.

The PR3's in stock size (50's) are only 73

I was looking at the 55's for both PP3 & RP3, as that's the size that I like the best.

Sorry for not noting that.
