Hey BigAlan! We frequently send stuff over the pond so perhaps you can piggyback on another order we get and split the freight with the customer? If you'd like, I can make a note here to PM you next time we have an order from the U.K. and maybe we can get something worked out. I'd love to start sending more of these parts overseas (we already ship 1-3 international orders a week for these accessories) but it seems like freight holds quite a few people back because it's so expensive!

BigAlan, sounds like you need to try to start up a "group buy" for all of you on that side of the pond.

That would actually be a fantastic idea! BigAlan, if you'd like to take the reigns on that I'll certainly help out with whatever you need. I think the idea of a strictly European Group Buy would be great, though! Perhaps one of our distributors over there would be kind enough to accept a pallet containing the entire Group Buy (so we can ship it as freight on a pallet which will divvy up to be much cheaper per person for shipping) and then drop ship the individual parcels to their respective recipients.

BigAlan: In case you did not know there is a GTR forum in the UK, http://www.gtr1400.co.uk/forums/. There may be some interest there in a group buy??

Shouldn't someone that helps a buisness to make more profit form a source that it's not normaly expected from deserving of some sort of thanks? A company that is willing to properly thank individuals that don't directly work fo them, is a company that has increased their sales force many time over.

So.... what would 1% of the net profit be for say 10 sets of the Canyon bars (just the front)?
No I'm not expectiong Ryan to answer this. I do expect him to get someone there to run the numbers.

Ex:If the net profit was $10 per set ($100 for 10 sets), then the 1% net from that sale of 10 sets would be $1.

Food for thought is all this is.

Also after doing my example, I think 10% off of the net profit would be more in line.  8)  ::)  :P  ;D

Sorry guys. We won't be releasing any sort of profit information to the public. I can tell you though that we truly aim to please our customers and provide them with a great product (that does what it's supposed to when it's supposed to!) at very reasonable prices. This, on top of offering numerous Group Buys with discounts of up to 20%, should almost be thanks enough, no? Truth be told, 20% off a set of bars that together cost $475 MSRP definitely adds up to more than 1% of our profit off 10 sets. Hell, even 50 sets, actually (I just ran the math). I truly appreciate the help all of you guys put in when designing the Canyon Cages but you guys were getting something out of the deal just like we were, stellar product at a great price.

Conrad, now that's actually not a bad idea!
