Picking up my connie

I just purchased my first connie on Ebay. Im picking it up in Springfield Mo tomorrow and riding it home 400 miles to Oklahoma.

Be careful riding it back on the Tollway to OKC.  Now that the speed limit there is 300-400 mph you might be a little tempted to ride quickly.  Resist, enjoy the scenery, dawdle even.

Saw a Red C10, think maybe an '03 go for about 1400.00..Was a nice looking bike and in great condition..My guess that was the one he's picking up

That's confidence. I did the same, picked up my 2001 in Barrie ON and rode home about 400 km to Ottawa ON. It's a good way to bond with the new machine.

I did a fly and ride 1200 miles to pick up my C14 and enjoyed.  Have a blast and good luck!

Rode it home from Missouri, no tag across state lines yesterday, bill of sale and a title only. Since i was just begging to get pulled over I didnt bother stopping to pick up any 6 point beer to bring back to Oklahoma.  Tagged it first thing this morning

That "theory" (and anybody who has bred day lillies or dogs knows it's much more than that) seems to be under attack in most states of this fair country, but don't get me started...
