Jap bikes are disposable items, good luck and have fun with the bike shopping =)
Off topic and out of curiosity, a cycle world editor used the word 'Jap' bikes and he got razzed to the ground that it is a derogatory word dating WW II and should not have been used. Not bashing stevewfl - I know he meant no harm or fowl using the word and just meant 'Japanese' bikes. Just want to know what you guys opinion is on that.

Jap bike, rice rocket, whatever.
Edit: Don't forget that your bike is still yours not the insurance company's. There are probably many parts still worth selling to recover money to farkle your replacement.
