I tell you one thing: I helped Valerio to evaluate the possibility to sell his stuff to you guys in US.
Unfortunately, since the volumes involved are not relevant, the supplier Valerio is using charges a price that is good in Italy, acceptable in EU but not competitive in US, this due to shipment and taxes to be paid. :(

So maybe he could sell us plans? Sell pdf files over the internet? A detailed dimensioned drawing of the front brake lock
might generate some money. Or maybe a DVD (playable in all zones) showing how to make it.
Paypal would get a cut, maybe 4%.  Just a thought that something might come out of this besides chuckles, rolling eyes and
dead beat up horses.

At the risk of starting a sh*t storm, I am interested in obtaining a front brake lock feature.

I have little kids around sometimes and would feel better with less chance of the bike falling off the side stand due to the bike being bumped, no matter that it is in 1st gear.

All it would take is once, you know!

Until it's available (maybe after the sh*t storm  ;D ) take a vacuum cleaner belt (the older ones with the round cross section, not the newer flat ones) put it around the bar end and then twist the belt enough times (3-4?) until it will hold the brake when slipped over the end ball. When not in use just let it ride over the clutch reservoir, mine seems to stay put there pretty well. I'd still park it in gear as well. I'll post a video of it as soon as I get an Italian/English dictionary.  ;)

Is there a wrong side side-stand mounted to make this practically necessary?  LOL

Thanks, Marty. Do I need an Italian vacuum cleaner belt, or will an old Hoover do?  ;)

Neither Italian nor Hoover...
You need a perfect German belt by Mìele, the most expensive vacuum around! (besides Vorwerk Kobold, Folletto in Italy, but that's pure robbery! ;) )

Mìele resembles BMW to me: highest price for just a "supposed" higher quality  8)
Stand out from the crowd: do not buy a BMW !!!
