It is hotter than the hinges of hell here in CO. Looking at evaporative vests/shirts to keep cool. Anyone used this or other products? Please include what you like or dislike. Thanks, Den

I have a type of vest that evaporates water soaked in to it. They work best when air flows through them in my opinion. It really didn't work for me, other than having something wet next to my shirt, because the fairing on the Concours doesn't allow a whole lot of air to hit your body and chest. It works well on my other unfaired bikes.

I have a firstgear one. Here in Indiana, it doesn't work that well. It would be great in the desert.

The vests seem to work a lot  better if you have some air moving.

If you have some airwings to divert air in towards you midsection, you'll feel a lot cooler.

I have an evap vest, but haven't used it in several years since I got my airwings fabbed up.

Didn't realize how well they worked until I swapped bikes for a bit with another C10 owner at the National in Eureka Springs.  It was about 95 F and his bike without airwings was a lot hotter ride than mine was.

I pull my plexiglass off the rifle base and wear my vest and it is great. I also have been known to fill my helmet with water. Now I try to not ride in that heat, but above 90 degrees the shield comes off.
