actually had to do that once.  riding I4 from Daytona to Orlando one of our friends apparently had a sleeping disorder he was just learning about.   Fell asleep on a CBR going 70 down the freeway.  one another rider in the group was pushing on the handle bar to keep him from his slow drift into the shoulder.  lasted a good min or so until he snapped out of it.

It's a Freeze Up - 80s television was the worst.

On strange riding stories though, a friend of mine I rode bikes with several years ago was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease. We were on I-35 just north of Austin one morning heading back to DFW and he went from the far left lane, across several lanes of traffic, and barely got to the shoulder without falling. There were about 5 or 6 of us following, and we almost all went down.

When he would have an attack, there would be no warning, and it would only last a few minutes. Very random. He had to give up motorcycling as it became simply too dangerous.
