It stays in the inside pocket of my riding jacket. There is no reason that it needs to be quickly available.

Same here.  It is the only jacket that I use for this bike (I have a cruiser bike that has it's own jacket as well).  I had a spare key made up for the gas tank/bags that I use to access them.  So, the fob never leaves the inside pocket for any reason.

Fob goes in hosrizontal Cell Phone holder on my belt that has a velco flap closure a very secure clasp. A key with a key ring is attached to a metal link dog collar that goes around my belt and hanges into my pants pocket for easy access to use for gas cap and saddle bags.

Mine stays in the left front pocket of my Tour Master mesh riding pants.  The Velcro at the top of the pocket won't let anything out.  The right front pocket is reserved for the trunk Fob.

You have a trunk fob?  Tell us all about it.  Please post pics.

Sounds like one o' 'dem Coocase top boxes. They have a remote unlatch module as well as an integrated alarm function, at least some models.

So many thoughts....

1) You simply cannot have too many fobs.
2) Wow, those fobs must make a lot of lumps in your pants.
3) Have you ever gotten in trouble because you grabbed the wrong fob?
4) Does the excuse "I meant to grab the other fob" really make much of an excuse?
5) Have you tried to daisy- chain your fobs? You know, you carry one fob that activates the next fob that activates the next system....
6) A KiPass thread cannot be ruined although introducing additional fobs is surely the best attempt so far.

As to where to carry the fob: just find something you have been able to carry successfully for years and place the fob next to it.... car keys, a wallet, dentures, whatever. I carry mine in my right pants pocket because I never ride without pants and the fob is not big enough to cause any discomfort (or undue attention) no matter where I go with it. I also have not washed or lost it so far but that is because I applied the 'where do you keep your wallet' idea where and how to carry it around.

I miss Haroldo- he could absolutely have added something to this thread.

It's one of these LT, pretty slick, I've seen it in person on Robs bike and like it!  :)
