Concours parts for sale (for good cause)
« on: April 25, 2012, 01:43:56 AM »
Hi guys, friend of mine and local COGGER and LDRider asked me to lend him a hand and see if I can't get rid of some of his spare parts.

He is about to embark on a SE Asia tour and all proceeds will go towards fuel and beer. Mostly beer as he will be riding a scooter partially and a bicycle partially. So feel free to pay a few bucks more than the worth of the items knowing it's going to a good cause.

Here is a partial list of just the items I picked up today, pictures will be taken over the next couple of days but you guys already know what most of this stuff looks like.

He also gave me 4 jackets to get rid of. Here are pictures of those.

Ok now onto the parts. I will price the items out over the next few days but if you would like to make an offer please do so. Remember, the more you spend, the more beer he can have. :)

Mirrors, 1 full set with mounts as well as one without (will double check the side of that in case someone needs perhaps just the glass)

Throttle cables, I believe they are new, will double check

Petcock rebuild kit (I have a spare petcock that could use a rebuild, can rebuild and sell that as freshly rebuilt if anyone requires)

Fork Seals (early model concours, 86-94)

Fork brace, very nicely made from a solid chunk of aluminum (early concours)

Bar end weights, they feel like heavy weights.

Wind deflectors

Clutch lever (early model with the ribbed finger grooves)

Carb Block (perfect to send down to SISF)

Rebuilt Jbox

Misc.

Tech Mount http://www.ztechnik.com/webimages/ZBMZ6700TechMount_600.jpg

Autocom setup with plenty of spare cables, (will go through it all shortly)

Soft saddlebags Nelson Rigg CL-950 (perhaps you have another bike)?

cruise control brain from a Honda, if any of you would like to try and fabricate your own cruise control from it.

Suzuki DR650 items

blinkers and taillight (new)

Hand guards, OEM, yellow

front tire, used (trail wing I believe)

BBQ Rack, great to haul your camping gear and make a steak with. Charcoal not included. Will also protect the rear blinkers in a tipover. http://ladkrk.smugmug.com/photos/54667746-M.jpg

Other MC items

Parabellum shield for an R1150GS (will measure for size)

How much for the weights and wind deflectors? That is if they will work on my 92?

They both will, however I believe the fork brace may be sold already.

New they are, wouldn't sell used cables, that's just wacky. However there is someone in line ahead of you.
