Back after a year
« on: April 22, 2012, 10:27:22 AM »
All,

Finally made it back to the forum after a year, so I hope to renew friendships I made on the forum from last year  ;D
What happened?
In 2007 I was hit by a cager going opposite direction in my lane whilst riding my motorcycle (only a mile from my home) so I was lucky (ATGATT) and made it through with numerous injuries, including punctured lung, busted up knee etc, etc.

So fast forward to May 2011 when I joined this forum and bought my Candy Red 2009 C14. I had not been well for several months in 2011, so I just went about my daily life until acute pains around my lower abdomen towards the end of the year finally gave way to several visits to my Doctor (I hardly ever see my Doctor). So last week I went for an ultrasound and this Friday I had surgery. My chest looks as though I have been riddled with bullets (5 holes) but the good news is that my internal organs are no longer "glued" together (surgeon doesn't know if this was from accident), my gall bladder has been removed and I hope to get back on the Concours ASAP.

Jon.

Missed ya too  ;D

Hope you are OK after the bike falling over?
How did your daughter enjoy her prom (I have this to look forward too, as my daughter is 12 this November).

All is well with the Connie, I took one of mama's nail file things and smoothed out the points of the Top Blocks that touched the ground and then rubbed em out with some compound and unless you're looking for it you can't even tell.  :)

She had a blast at the prom, we have another daughter right behind her in age though so me and mama get to do this again real soon, next time I'll leave the Connie in the garage...  ;)

Time really goes fast doesn't it?

I am pleased about your Connie, as you do set the bar rather high  ;D ;D
