You do know a few years back, a Kawasaki Z1 in Jacksonville Fl was likely to be kidnapped.

my old 1980 Kz1000 would have been grabbed up too.  The guys liked using them for drag bikes. 

Sport bikes end up parted or sold for track use.  I've wondered the theft rates on our bikes.  I doubt Kipass would slow a pro down much.  But i could see a kid making a mess before giving up on the stove knob.

A nice plain cover goes long way deterring smash and grab thief's.
