Slowest Spring Concourier yet
« on: April 10, 2012, 06:43:06 PM »
So, opened the mailbox, guess what SLOWLY crawled out?  The Spring Concourier, of course.  Why did it crawl out?  Well, it has a black '09 on the cover.  I had to check the date to make sure it was 2012s edition, and lo and behold it is ;D  So, I opened it up, slowly, I get to page 4 and look at who gets the cover photo credit.  Who ever woulda thunk it, our very own ZG, "Slow Jay".  Seems he thinks his bike is faster, "Especially in the Spring" :o
When I got to the door I had a package sitting there, it was a gift from who else?  Jay.  All I gotta say is the backing is silver and when light hits it just right it's silverdammit, camoflaged speed.  Thanks Jay, i will feel safer at night knowing my vis has been doubled.

Congrats on the cover and nice pic for sure.  Nicely done ;D

Enjoy the Real Time kit, too bad I'll never see how it works on your silverdammit though, because I'll always be in front of you...  ;)

SOP, the black 09 only appears to be slower due to the aerodynamic ineficiencies inherent to the design of the fairing.

ZG is just a very conservative and cautious rider, who chooses not to excede the posted speed limit lest he anger a member of the non riding citizenry.

The cover shot was very nice Jay.  Your friend took a great picture, it showed the best quality of your bike............................[the way it looks so pretty while parked].   ;D

There's only three ways for us Silverdammit owners to see Jay's bike. Lookin purdy on the cover of the Cocourier, parked, or in our rearviews.   8)

The pic they chose wasn't even one of the better shots IMO, but I think they wanted it to look less "sport" and more "touring"...  :-\

Here's some other angles with bags off etc to highlight the Muzzys, I liked the 4th one down myself.  8)

I have some other shots in landscape as well but they needed portrait for the cover obviously do to the size/layout, I'll try to pick out a couple good landscape shots to throw on the pic thread...

That sounds like it could get you into trouble if it goes off traveling through some neighborhoods.   :o
