Garage time with connie today
« on: April 07, 2012, 03:55:47 PM »
Been riding the bike to work since gas hit $4.30 a gallon. Got some time today to get the Blue Bomber cleaned up. He sure was in need of some cleaning. Cut and polished the paint, cleaned and conditioned the seat and the inner fairing area and polished all the chrome. Also got the rear tipover bars installed It was a great day. Now it is time for a nap!!

She does look nice though!

Hey F-106; I notice a little nubbin in the second pic, its sticking out from under the riders seat in the second pic. Whats that for? Seat cover?

Now go get er dirty before people start to think she's a show bike!

Hey bbroj I could mail you some of the bugs I was scraping off my screen last night! Here in Mn! Bugs! in April!

I think what you are looking at is the Battery tender plugin. I had the seat off so I could detail under the seat and wax the frame. Not to mention put a good coat of platic polish on the seat pan. :rotflmao: As far as no -where to go. I did get in 10,300 miles this year 8).

I stopped for gas on Sunday and had to use the windshield squeegee to get the bike's windshield clean enough to not be a distraction!  :o
