12.8? That sounds like an amazing deal. What fees did they add on top of that?

None, Nada, zip.  Brought them a check for 12.8 and rode away.  I paid my sales tax, and registration fees in my home state.

If that website is accurate, I paid $1000 below invoice.  I know there was $1000 rebate, but that means the dealer didn't make squat on the sale of the bike.  I find that hard to believe.  I wonder if that is the price if the dealer only buy one unit.

On vehicles there is also a secret "holdout".  Plus dealers can get all kinds of special incentives and rebates back from the dealer based on the number of vehicles they sell over the quarter or year or whatever.

Trust me, they ALWAYS make money.

I walked out the door for $12.5, which included everything including license title and registration

They're definitely dealing.  I couldn't be happier.

I got a chance to ride a Super Tenere a couple of weekends ago. Very nice. But when I saw one on the show room with panniers I was surprised by the price.

The Panniers are outragious and then add the top box..think its like 1500 for all..WOW
