This is next up on my list and I have looked at the web site but am uncertain which version of the three that are offered to get. I haven't asked them if thry provide samples or not but if anyone here can offer comparions from experience maybe it would help me decide.
If you are looking for increased grip, make sure you get the snakeskin. The hhigh fusion doesnt offer any more grip for me.

Since I do not access the battery box too often and the pads are able to be reapplied, I purchased the 2010 forward pads for the right side for a more symmetrical look.

Can't you just cut a small seam in that lower piece so that the batt box is still accessable but you'd still keep the bottom piece to line up with the top one?? Just an outside lookers thought...  :-\

I am sure that someone more capable of cutting w/o destroying it could but since they are able to be taken off and reapplied I did not bother.  I do not trust my cutting skills.  I could take the cover off with the product still applied, trace a line on the back side for the exact shape, and then cut along the line with the correct equipment and it would work.

This is a really great product, hopefully they'll be back to register here. They protect your paint and help a little with the sliding forward on the seat. You can see mine below, I use the side pads with a targa tank bra.

I just did the same setup MP, thought I'd go ahead and give it a try, picked up a half set from a member that didn't use the knee pieces...

I'd like to go try them out if this stinken rain would ever stop...  :banghead:   :'(
