Set it and forget it does sound like a good idea. I'm glad you're still liking the set up. Within the month I'm looking at ordering the same lights. Can't have too much light on the front of a bike. I did read about your misadventure with the reflector bracket, that's a bummer. Did you put in aux switches for the two sets of lights? Well I guess the driving lights up top the fob could turn off. Just wondering if there's ever a time you need to turn them off, or is it good enough to just let them dim at low beam and it doesn't cause issues.
No switches for the lights and both sets of lights stay on...if the bike's on, the lights are on! The only time I could imagine having to turn them off is if you're in another state that doesn't allow for those lights in that position. If so, they can easily be switched off.
You won't be sorry...the lights are great! ADVmonster is great to work with. The guy from ADV fixed my light for free, the one that was damaged from the radiator incident.
Like I said before, I've had people pull up next to me at lights or into parking lots and tell me they saw me coming from over a mile away! That's when they become "priceless"!
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the lights or how to mount them. Feel free to PM me anytime.
