Squeaky front brakes

What's an easy fix for squeaky front brakes. It only seems to happen at slow speeds, like easing up to a red light.

Its brake dust build up, degrease rotor, failing that, take pads out and use some rough sandpaper on them briefly and put them back in, this should clear it. (glazed pads)
Dont take my LOW post count as being a new Connie owner, I have been with the "other site" before it imploded........

I just worked on this same issue yesterday. My new to me '09 had a pesky case of the squeaks. A quick cleaning/scuff didn't do much so I ended up: Removing and cleaning up the calipers, scrubbing the rotors with brake clean and a Scotch-Brite pad, scuffed pads with sandpaper and applied a thin coat of "Disc Brake Quiet" on the back of the pads. Squeak is finally gone.

That works but in my experience only lasts about 50 miles or so. Do what ZG said, blast them with the water hose frequently. It's much less hassle and about the same result.
