Well in the second shot you either didn't have the right developer temperatures when the film got processed or the print was under exposed by 1/2 an f-stop.

Be sure to calibrate your water bath and chemical temps.

but yes there is a quality difference......

Maybe. Compare the ear rings between each pix.

Thanks - Thats the exact same shot, neither are film (digital)....thats my point the two services are different.  I have a high-end Mac Thunderbolt monitor for graphics. Sad thing is they are both hosed compared to the original on my machine. I think the online host services just have some HORRID file compression algorithims. I heard there's a paid service, 500pix or such thats professional and said to be great. may try them out.

Not film....well what is the world coming too!  LOL

Used to be arguments about Kodak vs Fuji and additive vs subtractive processes. End of the day it came down to process speed and lowest cost.

Same is happening here in digital land obviously.

Heck if you calibrated your viewing monitor the pics would even be better....but only on that monitor of course.

And based on the comments for some it really doesn't matter if the quality is slightly less.

The more some things change the more they stay the same.

Yes sir, indeed!

I still shoot film sometimes using all 3 of these old cameras. One of them even takes 620 film!  Amazing I can still find that stuff.

It's hard for me to tell if she's a Ninell or a Sevenell without seeing more.
