I have that drop-down shade stuff on my Scorpion EXO-1000 and *LOVE* it. One of the best things invented for helmets!  Hopefully yours is dark... the Scorpion comes with a stupid "light" tint.  Have to immediately discard it and replace it with a $25 "dark" tint for it to be useful.

+1 love it on the schuberth!

Exactly!

Nothing looks quite as nice as a clean, black sports car (or even bike), but it will almost never be clean.  Thus, it can be a nightmare color.   Black also tends to show defects more than any other color, and gets really freaking hot.  My second out of 4 cars was black and that was enough for the rest of my life :)

Black cars, and bikes, look better in the shade.   8)

I have ridden all my life...but it feels kinda good to think of her as a starter bike. Trust me, I'm not scared of her by any means but florida law mandates I take the course. I have been AROUND BIKES ALL MY LIFE !! one thing i have learned is never assume you can judge someones skill by using you own as a reference! The power and size of the bike don't concern me...at all!

It's a good size bike and has plenty of usable power, but nothing like my two previous bikes ('Busa and ZX-10R).  Those were difficult to ride, especially the 10R.

I feel  like I can flog my C-14 without any major concerns.

Here's to you man!!! I have some strong reasons not to pick a black bike...but I couldn't Ignore you ride!! I think my Dad would be proud! The last street bike I owned was a Black 1965 Harley Davidson Fl...I inherited it, your bike gave me a new view of black, I had a hard time riding the last one. Drooling over your ride has cleared my vision. Thanks Z!!! I think you will like the next few pics I post! I did go all black with the seat though...

You're pics made the load a bit lighter. :chugbeer:

KawiG---

I was at the dealership today having my brake/clutch fluids changed and saw your bike!!

It looks so nice--- but lonely sitting there on the dealership floor....

They did have a Copper 2012 V-Strom in stock but unfortunately not a Super Tenere.
They offered me $8000 for my Connie as a trade but said I could strip off all my accessories to sell separately.

I'm not sure which direction I am going to go-- I may post a for sale ad to gauge interest...
sadly bikeless..... but I'm working on that!
