SISF exhaust cam install ?
«

This is a pic of the stock sprocket with one bolt removed and the chain link marked. Can anyone tell me if I have the right link marked? I think I do but I screwed this up on my last one and ended out removing the cams to install it. Thanks.

yes, that'll work. Note that the mark on the sprocket indicates the tooth next to it, and the actual link is between the rivets - you currently have the top rivet marked, just be sure you don't let the tooth slip up and be above that link. Steve

The cam sprocket and 2mm were the best mods I've made to my Connie (well, to be fair, Steve did the carbs). The ZZR shock is proving to be a close second. Enjoy your newfound midrange!

Too much RTV in that picture. All those bits that are squished to the inside of the engine are falling off and will eventually clog up your engine oil pump intake screen.

I noticed that too Mike. PO had a dealer do a valve adjust right before I got it. Will be checking those too!
