The carriers on the 2011 and newer bikes are supposed to be a little beefier to help with the warping issue.  I had 2011 rotors put on my 2008 and I haven't had any issues in the past 10 months (25,000 miles).
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

Good to hear- let's hope they have that problem on the run.

By the way, the disc carriers on the '11's and newer seem to contain more than twice the steel that the earlier models had. Nothing scientific, just going by visual reference when the two different types are parked near each other.

Dealership put on new rotors today and there is a big difference in the two rotors, (old vs new) The new ones look a lot bigger. (not Dia.) Wooho New front tire, new rotors, not beded pads, wet road ... scary ride home
