Found an auction for a Shad 46 liter top-case (action listing says 40 liter, but image says SH46). If I am seeing things right, it will match my 2009 perfectly and comes with all the mounting gear as well as an aluminum rack that looks to be a Phil's Rack.

It is a PCA rack and retails for well over what you paid for the entire deal, a steal indeed.

Congrats on a great buy. I have the Shad SMH50 on my 08. Shad makes a top notch product. IIRC Shad makes the bags for BMW's.

I hope the UPS driver actually leaves the package tomorrow. He has been leaving us notes (for other shipments) saying that "sender requires an adult signature at the time of delivery" and they are trying to deliver around noon during the time my wife and I are at work (duh). They used to leave things all the time and now they are requiring somebody to be there to sign? When did this change as I know the people sending are not requesting the signature since I have checked with them.

FYI, you can contact UPS and request to have it held at their local UPS hub for you to pickup, sig is still required but at least they won't send it back to the shipper...

Yeah, I know. I hate doing that though as that is a 20 minute drive each way. I just need to remember to have stuff shipped to my sister as she does daycare from her home and is almost always there. After they try to deliver it once, I can go online and schedule it to be sent somewhere else for a fee (I think it's like $6 even though it is literally about 1/8 mile away and the same delivery guy....

Got home today and the UPS truck was in front of the house. I got out and the guy waved at me as he got in and left. I figured that was a good sign and went and checked and there was a box for me. My wife had signed for it right as I was getting home, so he left it and she didn't bring it in.

Got it mounted up already and it fits perfect! I had to drill two holes in the luggage rack to get the mounting plate to fit properly with the existing space available under the rack and access to those holes, but no big deal.
