Currently snowing outside (again), this time with lightning strikes! Yes, can hear and see them... three of them anyway.

Ran into it once going over Independence Pass. Pretty cool. I was riding with someone from Georgia and they could not believe I kept heading up the pass when it was snowing. When the thunder started -- well I think his reality was significantly expanded.

Down the road from you... Wind is a blowing... it's coming down lightly, not sticking yet.  Thought I heard thunder when I was outside on the porch for a smoke... but said to self, nah.

Friend in Longmont had some thunder and lightning a bit ago. I have a feeling it's gonna take a bit to start sticking out east where I'm at.

It was very windy today, but I bravely took my bike out anyway for an hour ride.  http://www.weather.com/weather/today/Melbourne+FL+USFL0311
It's supposed to be better tomorrow.

Thunder snow is pretty damn cool, no pun intended. The times that we've had it around here we really got dumped on. The last time we were out on the sleds and it was awesome!

both of the rare 20 inch storms Tulsa had last year were thundersnow storms. very cool. Not so cool trying to get to work in a place that rarely gets that kind of snow.

And?  I guess this is more interesting to read.

ya'll come ride with SteveJ and the crowd  in FL!?  I personally  leave FL in the summers and ride else when its too hot here.

We have some of the best twisties known to man here too:

Daytona International Speedway
JenningsGP
Homestead Miami International
Morosso

And if 75-80 degrees is too warm for you snowbirds we can go up to Road Atlanta in GA, its only a few hours  :D

:offtopic: Sorry but stevewfl, do you take the glycol out of the bike to do track days? Looked at the requirements for a track in Nebraska and they require it. Seems like a pain in the butt. Just wondering.
