Thanks for the well- wishes. Just remember that there is an '08 C-14 somewhere in southern California that went past 100K miles last spring if I remember right. I believe I saw him list the bike as having something like 109K the last time I saw a post from him. So I am a long way from the top slot in mileage.

I am thrilled with the bike and the bike's performance but yes, there have been issues although all have been repaired quickly and easily under warranty.

I had made a list of the warranty repairs back when the bike passed 50K and some people were put off by the number of incidents. Maybe there were 7 or 8 items, I really do not remember. Still, I have the bike to ride it and any warranty work is incidental to me; put another way, I do not measure the 'goodness' of a vehicle by the number of repairs it needs assuming they are not ridiculous or chronic and none have been so on the C-14 for me.

So overall, I think the bike has treated me very well and believe it can continue for the next 250K miles.

You left out a zero but I fixed it for you.

BTW, I am at 61,000 with zero issues other than self-inflicted ones.

mine has the galactic amount of 23k miles and only had 2 issues: vibration buzz (solved under warranty with a 50 cents washer on the handlebar weights) and slight disc warping (exchanged for the stronger '11 discs under warranty).
I heard yesterday on the radio that a guy in the US had a Honda Accord with slightly more than a million miles. He just got a new car. Guess what it is.

Probably a Kawasaki. Most people here have gone from Honda to Kawi.

I just clicked over 50k this weekend on my '08. Did a valve inspection at 36k....no other issues. (I had a few minor issues when new). It's been superlative. Had it to over 160mph, avg'd  45mpg...best tank was 320 miles (kept it at 45 mph). It's been a fantastic bike.

Just today, I ran my 100W headlights, electric vest, heated handgrips on high...and the voltage didn't change.

Of my 8 prior moto's...this is my favorite and that is saying alot. (previous bikes: Hawk GT (drag and roadraced), C10 x2, Bandit 1200s (drag-raced).

Props to big K...this is a great motorcycle...but you already know that.

Right around 7K. The trip out was 3132 miles, and the rest were from riding around in the area while I was there plus the ride home which was quite a bit longer than the ride out as I deviated to see some things on the way.
