SOLD Audiovox Cruise Control for C-10 SOLD
« on: October 05, 2011, 05:03:56 AM »
THIS ITEM IS SOLD

I've decided not to install a genuine AudioVox CCS-100 cruise control I originally purchased in 2005.

This is NOS (New Old Stock) in the original box never installed.  I was injured in '05 and my Connie sat unused 'till this year, this cruise unit was stored on a closet shelf all that time.  The sub-package with the keypad & harness was opened but all other sub-packages in the box with hardware, etc. are still un-opened.  This unit is 100% complete as originally sold by AudioVox.

In addition to the AudioVox instructions, included are color print-outs of C-10 Concours-specific installation instructions and color photos of the install downloaded from a Cogger's website back in 2005 (no longer online).

Also included are the following accessories purchased this year from Murph's:
[BE-100] Bergmen Engineering AudioVox Cruise Control Switch Mod Bracket (for left/clutch handlebar)
[CCS-100 Pad] CCS-100 Cruise Control Touchpad Cover 3-pack
[VAC-100] Vacuum Canister

Current retail for all is $225, asking $160 delivered Priority Mail in lower 48.

Thanks for looking!

Sorry, Chris, no trades needed at this time.

Edit that ..... I'd trade the Cruise + $ for a Russel Day-Long seat for the C-10.

But no, I don't need hwy pegs or block-offs.

CRAP!  All day long I've been waiting for somebody to buy this so I wouldn't.  I've checked quite a few times and here it is late in the day and I've caved to the pressure and committed to buying it if it's still available.  Will I need any other bits or parts for the install?  ........vacuum line or anything like that?  Give me your PayPal info and I'll get the money to you and give you my shipping info.  Thanks!

The AudioVox kit includes some vacuum line and instructions for both CA emission and 49-state installation.  I suppose additional vacuum line might be required depending on how you choose to install the system.

If you have LED brake lights or low voltage (for whatever reason) at the brake trigger wire you may need a standard relay and additional wire with crimp connectors.  Instructions for why and schematic for how to install the relay are included.  If you have LED brake lights let me know and I'll include a NEW relay from my parts bin.
