Because compared to almost any other moto-forum that I visit.......this place is almost dead when comparing the number of posts and or topics "per log-on visit".

So what gives? :o

No idea, but it seems a bit quiet to me, too.

Everyone in the northern states are out enjoying the last month of good riding weather.

Damn right, get out and ride. I was out Fri and Sat. Gorgeous weather for the end up Sept. here in Colorado. Did about 700 for the week (500 and 200 respectively) Ticked over 28,000 on Sat. I'm on pace for about 30,000 in less than 2 years  ;D

Maybe the C14 is more dependable than its reputation even says? Hell.....the Vstrom forums get so many stupid ass topics/questions, that I reckon I take the C14 for granted. ;) For some reason the Vstrom attracts new riders and older riders whom are getting back into riding, I reckon the C14 is no bike for noobs

I would concur, as I've yet to see a new rider even contemplate getting one. I think the "size" of the bike is an intimidating factor. I saw the large fairing/windshield/hard bags as needed/want items when I was searching for a replacement for my Vulcan. As far as reliability, I've only had warranty issues so far, and those have all been covered.

Speaking of stupid-ass.......I don't post to the Stromtrooper forum anymore since I got sick of that wacko Sitting Duck and his insane, alternate-universe, mentally-deficient drivel.  Other members are just fine, but it's amazing how one doofus who suffers from a  recto-cranial inversion can just turn you off of the whole thing.  >:(

Right now I'm awaiting the clutch star-spring kit from Murph before I ride the Connie again, so I guess I don't have much to say about that, either. :-X

The GMC truck is running good though. ;D

The 14 is the first bike I've had in years that I don't have to wrench unless I want to. :)

You got that right! I'm hoping for more than just another month though.

This week is looking pretty, pretty, pretty good, as far as the weather goes. Cool in the morning, 40's, then in the 70's on the way home from work.

Heck we're finally out of ther 90's here in Houston. Of course we're out riding. The weather don't get any better than this down here. With any kind of luck it may hang around for a couple of months. Got a 3-day solo ride planned for this weekend.  ;D BTW steve I don't have any Vstrom pics but I got some Bandit pics I can post for ya if you really need a Suzuki fix.  :o
