One wheeled trailer
« on: September 23, 2011, 02:59:28 PM »
What was the name of the guy that was trying to make a one wheeled trailer to rival the Uni-Go? Has anyone heard anything about it? Would love to get one for the Concours.

I just contacted him a few weeks back and there is no progress on the trailer.

Because Schoolhouse/Uni-Go has been totally unresponsive the the American market.  As far as I can tell, they have done no product development, nor hitch development for at least 5 years.  I can see no evidence that they want the business.

I thought someone in the U.S. was making one also. Was supposed to be about half the price of the Uni-Go. Maybe it was the one from Australia.

I think Schoolhouse was having hosting/server issues... not able to get to their emails and into the site change things.  I think they are supposed to have a new site up and running in a week or so.  This is based on a conversation one of the guys on ST-O was having with them, and what he was posting.

You might contact Larry here http://www.sporttouringgear.com/  He has been trying to get someone with a C14 lined up for product development.  Tell him I sent you!

I talked to the place in TX.  They have a demo, but the trailers are an 8-week order item.

The purple trailer pictured above in made by C-Way in the Ukraine and is not currently imported into the U.S.A.

Unison from Australia is running behind projections, but still seems to be working towards a 2012 release.  I like David's design and approach, but he is working on a M109 matching trailer and a GL1800 matching trailer.  I would expect that a "generic-style" trailer would be down the list a bit.
