HMM, and here i am working on a setback -rubber isolated handlebar mount
Steve
Hey Steve,
If you are using a Storz or KB bar adaptor I have a setback plate you can have if it will help. It moves the bars back towards you about an inch.
Riser on Riser with an adapter setback......ingenuity at it's finest. Also like how you adapted a bracket to secure the throttle lock. Thanks for the illustrations.....
I've got the KB risers and would like to add a setback adapter, similiar to Jim's design, that will allow more handle bar options. Hadn't seen anything, until now, that would allow that type configuration. Steve, looking forward to seeing what you have in the kettle.
You guys are great!!!
Jim,
how much longer did you have to make your brake lines?
Did you have to change cables or anything else?
Glenn
The only cable I had to buy was a longer choke cable from Murph, everything else I re-routed. Re-routed the throttle
cables down the right side of the frame. I went with the two line SS brake lines when I did the 4 pot brake mod to the front
I think they were 2" over.
I had to redo the clutch line a little also but I made it work.
