MRA varo touring or Givi
« on: August 17, 2011, 07:47:56 PM »
Has anyone tried both on a 1400? How do they compare? I am 6'2" with a 34" inseam. What about the spoiler on the vario does it really do very much? Do you get clean air or buffeting .
Thank's in advance.

The spoiler makes a big difference, I am 6' with a 32" inseam.  in the full up position and the spoiler full up it directs air over my helmet, put the spoiler down and the air hits me around the throat.  In the down position for the screen with the spoiler full up it moves the air to my chin, with the spoiler down the air hits me in the chest.  It works for me in both hot and cold weather.  I have been using the screen for 20k miles.  No buffetting in any setting for me.

Thank's Jerry.
Could you post a few pictures? What about back pressure in the full up position?
Thank's in advance.
