Pick up only makes sense - couldn't see shipping this.  Live near St Charles IL  / Sycamore IL.  Can meet too.  So, Chicago area, north central IL, southern WI. 

Came on the bike I bought used with 16K miles on it.  Took it off around 21K.  Not mint but very good condition if memory serves - some light scratches.  No dents or gouges or anything like that.  Price won't be an issue.  If you want it for YOU or a friend to use, let me know and we'll make the $ work.  If interested, I'll be glad to take some pics.

It is an '08 - and giving it away sounds about right.  Rather have a sixer of magic hat than chickafilet.    Like I said, we'll make the $ or lack there of work.

You might try the scrapyard and get $2.29- enough for a gallon of gas to get it there.

Stick it on eBay at a price quite a bit lower than brand new and be patient. Never know when somebody will be working on putting a bike back to stock, either before selling, after an accident, etc. And not everybody switches to aftermarket exhaust.

Oh my.  I naively thought someone could use it.  Can't bring myself to scrap something someone might need to use.  I guess I'll just live with it waning away in the garage for 4 years until I sell the bike. 

So, how about this:  if I buy a versys 1000 for one up sporty touring, and a z800 for weekend sport riding jaunts in WI, I can store this for 8 years and only use the C14 for two up with my wife.  Now THAT's a plan!  Maybe if I win lotto, I can afford insurance on a Ninja 1000, so 9 years.
