2000 C-10 Concours for sale lowered price (sold)
« on: April 12, 2015, 04:30:05 PM »
New price $2800.00 OBO

Well, Dad and I have decided to sell the 2000 Connie we have co-owned for nearly 10 years. It is a fantastic bike and will continue to be for the next owner. Dad has moved on to the Victory brand (2) and I have my heavily modified 91 C-10, my 2014 V-Max AND 2 more C-10's in the back yard waiting to be combined into one bike. Just not enough room in either of our garages. Sooooo time to let someone else enjoy this one. I will do my best to list everything that has been done, replaced, modified on the bike. The bike is currently titled and in Layton Utah (north of Salt Lake City). It can be brought back to the DFW area if needed. last October, Dad and I took a road trip from DFW back to Utah and I left the bike there. before we left, it received a major service. It had about 1500 miles put on it and as far as I know needs nothing but a new owner. This is truly a bike you could fill up with gas, check the tire pressures and ride back across the country. The bike, as I left it in Utah, condition, configuration is:

2000 Concours with 54904 miles on the odometer (as of this posting)
engine mods (performed by myself)
SISF exhaust cam sprocket, 2min mod jet kit, carbs synced
   new iridium spark plugs
   stick coil conversion
emissions removed and block-off plates installed
   bafflectomy (1 inch hole saw)
   K&N air filter
valves were adjusted and oil/filter changed before leaving on the trip
recent water pump replacement and coolant flush
bevel drive gasket, shifter seal, clutch pushrod seal, balance shaft seal all replaced before the trip
new star springs replaced before the trip
stem bearings, front and rear wheel bearings replaced before the trip
has tubular bars with Storz adaptor and Murph's bar end weights and Vista cruise throttle lock
grips I think are Murph's with grip puppies
Audiovox cruise installed, worked flawlessly on the trip. Always maintained set speed even while riding through the mountains.
forks had seals and oil (15w) replaced about a year ago
rear shock oil was replaced with Murph's kit
all seals were replaced on rear diff and filled with synthetic oil
front brake lines replaced with braided steel
brake and clutch fluids replaced before the trip
currently has a Cee Baylee (sp?) 24 inch shield with Gold Wing vent
has a fork brace but was on the bike when purchased, don't know the brand
KB highway pegs with Wally world led lights.
headlight converted to 35w bi-zenon HID more than 4 years ago. comes with spare bulb and transformer and spare halogen bulb.
new Interstate AGM battery installed 2 years ago
free power mod performed per SISF instructions
"back off" brake light flasher installed
trunk has led brake lights installed
front and rear rotors and pads (EBC) replaced before the trip
aux. power outlet in left side panel
headlight protector (Cee Baylee?)
seat was purchased from Murph. It looks great, is a little on the firm side, is a Corbin base with a Sargent cover with red piping. If preferred, I have either version of the stock seats that can be swapped out with the Corbin/Sargent
helmet lock relocators

* has "china" shorty brake and clutch levers
* Murph's stainless screw kit
* MotionPro throttle cables replaced 2 years ago
* all the rear linkage and swing arm bearings were cleaned and regreased
* Trunk was made to look like the bags, sprayed with textured paint, semi gloss black, clearcoated still looks good after 3 years.
* air box reinforcement done not to repair but as prevent. maint.
* front fenda extenda
* Dan's gas tank quick release kit (sold by Murph)
* "thumb" screws (knob) for small side covers, no tools required to remove

tires were replaced before the trip. Front is Avon, rear was Avon but halfway into the trip I cut the tire and the only thing available was a Dunlop, so it has a Dunlop with aprox. 700 miles on it. Sorry, can't remember "which" Avon or Dunlop at the moment.

I think that's it. It is possible I have forgotten something so this post may be updated . I will put an * next to any updates.

Asking price is $2800.00 OBO. If you have any comments or questions, please ask. I have no intension of selling any of the farkles separately.  Pictures are of the bike days before it left for Utah October of last year. The windshield was replaced before we left.
