ProjekD Hand Wings
« on: July 20, 2015, 07:51:44 PM »
Today I received and installed the Hand Wings on my new C14 from ProjeckD. I had their wings on my 08 and they were very well made with a real nice fit.
I must say my experience with these is a little different.. they look cheap and I think they have a poor fit. And point a bit to the inside instead of the outside.

They will look much better when it's 35 degrees outside.  ;)

I bought some for my 2012. I had some fit problems and just put alittle more angle in the brackets and all was fine. I tried them on a rainy trip to Texas and they do work.

No drilling required... they mount into the existing fairing attachment screws.

No doubt they will, but they actually help with wind noise and back pressure. I use them year round for that purpose.

I have the Motax deflectors but I only use them for cold weather riding.
