For those that suggested crash bars as a solution for my problem, thanks. I'll begin the process of rollimg back the clock immediately.

Took me a bit to extricate myself as it pinned me close to the wall.  I wasn't hurt from the fall as it came down slow...(forgot to put kickstand down in garage  ).  Back got tweaked in putting it back upright.
Why I oughta....

Done that as well..

I was dreading dropping mine............so did it in style the morning after a day and night on the Guinness at last years GTR meet......................Well its one hell of a way to make new friends...............mirror and box scuffed..........now have bars and bungs fitted..............scuffs left and have named her The Old War Horse   :salute:

In my freakin garage.  Backing it in (not like Marc Marquez, literally, just rolling it in).  Right foot slipped because it was wet, weight went to my right arm, which has carpal tunnel/tennis elbow right now and over she went.  I wasn't happy at all, not a little bit. I did use proper technique to pick up after I let the adrenaline wear off a bit.

No serious damage, just scratches in various places, two different types of surfaces that I need to touch up and that's what I'm hear to ask.   2012 Arabian Red bike.  The bags and a couple other painted surfaces are scratched.  Also the gray part down low, the unpainted surface has some slight cosmetic damage.

I am looking to benefit from the hive mind here and learn from those who have already learned the right way to do this (sometimes by doing it the wrong way, which is what I am trying to avoid).  I'm not looking for Mona Lisa perfection, I just want it to be not as noticeable as it is now.  Others who have done touch ups, what advice can you offer?  I will post pics when I get home.  I probably need to wash it first, I rode in a hell of a rain storm last night coming home.

THANK YOU!

Sry to hear about your tip over.
This place helped with my scratches on my Bandit http://www.colorrite.com
I left the broken signal light duct taped on that bike for two years as a reminder of how easy it is to flip them.
