The John Penton Story - free tix for May 2, 2015 - TAKEN
« on: April 29, 2015, 05:44:01 PM »
So I won these tickets from SteelHorse Law firm at the open house for Sportland 2 in Oak Creek, WI.

I cannot go.
My brother-in-law in Middleton cannot go.
My brother in West Bend cannot go.

Our loss is your gain.  First person who sends me an address will get these two tickets mailed to them in Thursday's mail.
Not sure where the Barrymore Theater is located in Madison, so Google it.

These went to an anonymous member on Sport-Touring.net whose initials are 'Scott H'.

He said they would be used for 'date night'.

He will provide a 2500-word essay critiquing the film for those of us who could not see it.  :-)
Not!

Well...most importantly Diane wore heels with her jeans and was, I believe, the prettiest girl at the event!  Thus I was a bit distracted and didn't really pay attention to the film.

All kidding aside, the film was excellent.  11/12ths of it was a John Penton biography; 1/12th was a KTM promo.  I confess I'd never heard of John Penton before seeing the film.  I've known a few people like him in my life - a farmer, a blacksmith and academic - people who will not stop and will stop for nothing in pursuit of their goals.  It was quite inspiring.

This will have to do.  To get to 2500 words I'd just cleverly rewrite what's above.

Scott H.

P.S. ManWorkingHere gets my vote for man-of-the-year for hand delivering the tix to my house Thursday nite!

Sorry to have missed the flick!
