Sargent Seat 2008-15 C14 - SOLD
« on: November 22, 2014, 08:04:19 AM »
I have a lightly used Sargent seat for sale for 2008-2015 Concours 14. Im 200lb, and it is def more supportive than the stock seat. Rear end doesn't go numb after 30mi. Has storage under the seat for small items. iPhone 5 for size reference only. The foam was to snug it up some once on the bike. It can be takin out/discarded if you want. This is gonna be a large item to ship. Shipping will more than likely be around $50-$60 depending where you live. Shipped out of central Ohio. I will ship it UPS, NOT USPS.

Pay Pal preferred. Asking $300 shipped. Thanks

For what it's worth, I just did my iron butt 1,000 mile ride on this seat a couple of months ago, and it was great.

I couldn't imagine doing the ride on the stock seat...

Just curious, my experience with one-piece Sargent seats on other bikes is they tend to reduce the size of the rider's section and enlarge the passenger's section.  How does this compare to the stock seat in that regard?  TIA

For me at least, I like the size of the rider's seat.  I never, ever carry a passenger, so it's usually empty, or sometimes has a duffle bag fastened back there.

I like the fact that the back of my butt has something to support against it, which helps keep be back off the tank when riding long distances.  I'm not exactly a small guy (I ride in a size 48 Aerostitch) and have plenty of space.

I rode with my wife on this seat and had plenty of room. I felt the riders seat provided plenty of space for me. For ref, I'm 5'11" 195lb. If i scooted all the way back in the seat i was at a little more forward lean, so i tended to sit a little more up on the seat.

Seat is in excellent condition. NO rips or tears in the fabric
