Just got the speed bleeder kit from Murph which contains  6 bleeders when the Concourse has 7 which one does not get changed? One of the rear brake ones? Murphy could not give me an answer at this time.

Two in the front calipers.  Two on the master cylinders for front brake and clutch.  Two on the rear brake caliper.  One on the clutch slave cylinder are all that I am aware of.  In checking the parts fiche for a 2008, the calipers and slave cylinder bleeders are the same part number 43056-1052.  The bleeders on the master cylinders are 43056-1056.  So by my count, 5 are the same size and two are the same size...but different.  Don't know what's different between them.

The two that are the same size, coupled with the five that are the same size are different sizes. (hey, this is all I have to work with now that we are out of oil threads). 

The two that go with the master cylinders, front brake and clutch, are 8 mm hex and all the rest are 10 mm hex; I do not know offhand but the body sizes (thread sizes) are also different of course.

A lot of people miss one of the bleeders on the rear caliper, which has two bleeders. The front calipers only have one each so probably a lot of people expect the rear one to have only  a single bleeder also. The reason the rear caliper needs two bleeders is that the calipers halves are attached to each other on the bottom rather than the top so bleeding all the air out of the far caliper half won't bleed the air trapped at the top of the near caliper half.

The clutch operating cylinder; on the left hand side of the engine case. Look for the 'round thingy' (technical term) on the left engine case with three bolts and a bleeder on it- that is the clutch slave cylinder.

I believe you had it right in the first place: there are seven bleeders on a C-14. Aren't there? Two on the front calipers (one bleeder each), two on the rear caliper (both on one caliper), two at the handlebar master cylinders and one on the slave cylinder for the clutch. Seven bleeders on a C-14.... at least I think so. ??

Exactly 6  come in Murphs kit, but the 14 has seven bleeders. Murphy said he got the kit from speed bleeders and thought they may have expected to only change one on the rear brake. So I put the L types on the brakes and clutch and the shorter ones (not L type) on the masters. So in conclusion I only change out the outside rear bleeder.

So there are two different sizes in the kit?  Ok, I just looked at Murph's site and there are two sizes.  Should be 7 in the kit, not 6.  The speed bleeder people have it wrong.  In fact, they list an 08 ZG1000....idiots.

Yes, if you want to do it right.

Yes, you really need to bleed both side of the rear caliper.

You are not bleeding the brake line, you are bleeding the caliper halves of air that is trapped at the top. You cannot bleed one side only because the air will not go to the other side as there is no connection at the top; the front brakes are connected at the top so all the air can be bled from both with only one bleeder.
