Source for Kawasaki Diagnostic System KDS3

I'm looking for a source for the KDS3 system.  As best I can tell the most up-to-date kit is PN 57001-1772 but there are other older options such as 57001-1687A, 57001-1687B, and perhaps some others.

Does anyone here have one they are interested in selling?  Does anyone have a source where one can be purchased?

I saw that Ron Ayers had (and still has) listed the 57001-1772 so I contacted them and got the response:

I’m sorry, but these are on our site in error.  They came through with a regular part number update and are actually a dealership service department only item.
 
 
They will be taken down from the site as soon as it can be done.

I guess I can try to order this at my local Kawi dealer but I was hoping to get it with at least some discount off list price.

I have a KDS V3 kit (P/N 57001-1687A). It will work on any Concours-14's up to the current 2014 models...at least as far as I know. I've connected to a 2012 C14 with no issues.

Bought mine on Ebay for $299. It was almost new, I expect from a Kawi dealer that had closed. I had to load newer software, and had to purchase a newer com cable ($60?) for the 2010-up C14's. The newer version KDS probably comes with the newer software and com cable(s), but you can get that stuff separately if need be.

I would watch Ebay closely...they do pop up from time to time.

I know of two other C14 owners that found/purchased kits in the past year or so. One kit showed up for sale on the forum, I think for $450, and the other came from Ebay. There was another kit (incomplete) on Ebay that came up as well. The KDS interface is the expensive part. Software is no problem, as are the various com cables. Once you get your hands on the interface module, you can get the rest relatively easily.
