Quite so, I've got a RAC total tune analyzer (70s) in the garage that I can't bear to part with. Never know if I'll need a dwell meter one day... It does other stuff as well. Interestingly enough, I can find the manual for it but not the analyzer itself on the Web. I may just clean it up and stick it on a shelf in my office at home.
A friend of mine called me a couple weeks ago looking to borrow a timing light...
I thought...good grief, I sold mine I don't know how many years ago now...lol. It was a Craftsman jobbie that I had picked up at a yard sale years and years before, but when my last vehicle with an actual distributor ignition went (I think it was a 1990 Toyota 4x4 pickup?), I sold all the old tools that I needed for it immediately afterwards. It feels wrong...lol, I know...but I just can't keep stuff around that I no longer use/need.
Heck, I have a Milwaukee dry-wall screw gun that was used once over 10 years ago and has never been out of it's original box since...lol. It actually stresses me out to see it sitting on the shelf in the garage...lol. Ok, not really...but kind of...lol.
