That car from the left said, "Screw you, I'm done waiting."  And you could hear the retaliatory engine rev from the car that got cut off. lol.

Can you imagine how long it would take if they all obeyed the traffic laws and stopped at the stop sign.  A few of them actually used their turn signals.  I guess they needed to let the other riders know which way they were going.

Great, I suffered more permanent ear damage listening to that.  Who can I sue?

A buddy of mine kept trying to get me to go to that thing for years. I knew what it was and politely passed. Good cause I guess, just no interest in that type of function.

I've never liked a parade.  I get bored easily.  I contribute to those kinds of things but I won't ride in them.

Unless the police are there allowing them to pass the stop, how do they get away with it?

Wouldn't be wise to become a helmet dealer for that group.

There was a police officer directing the access to that intersection.

That "group" was only one of about 6 I believe, that rode in a group, they were coming in from the east.
in 2000 the route came right past my house, and we tried to count the bikes, lost track around 2,000. It was an endless roar for almost 20 minutes.
I have ridden in the first 2 Louie runs, way back when it started. I knew the fellow the ride was named after, and drank in his bar frequently in the mid 70's, early 80's.

It was an interesting bar / crowd back then, and one of a couple local holes within a mile stretch that were biker friendly. Then it went downhill./

How do they get away with it timsatx? Easy. They ride cruisers, and most, specifically HD's, who, in my opinion, seem to be able to do just about anything they want on the road, ride wherever, park wherever, stop whenever, block the sidewalk, block the entrance, park in the vestibule, park in the store. Now, I know what your thinking, but cruisers are the biggest offender in these parts, not saying the only offenders, laws just seem to apply to certain folks. Enough caveats? ;D

You sure that isn't 30 bikes just doing a loop?  They all look almost the same...
