Here come the upgrades!
« on: February 20, 2013, 03:14:22 PM »
In the next couple days I'm dropping off a bunch of parts and my new Concours, and expect to receive back a better, stronger and faster version.  Arrangements are all made, and they're doing all the work for me.  Here's what's happening:

Install full Area P exhaust
Install PC-V
Custom map
Remove secondary flies
Install Heli Horizon STs
Install Stiebel horn
Install PR3 tires

Stock dyno run results along with a modded dyno run.

I shall keep you posted!   ;D

I'm curious why you decided to go with removing the flies and a PC-V instead of reflashing your ECU?

When I was researching, I hadn't yet come across enough people who seemed perfectly content with their reflashing.  There still seemed to be a lot of questions about what could and couldn't be done.  So I bought the PC-V, then found more info that made the reflashing seem like it was well proven.  Since I had already bought the PC-V, I am just going to run with it.  Seemed pretty close to 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.  Hopefully that's the case.

All nice mods. Want a challenge? Look at the King of Farkles (ZG) bike. I'd certainly like to get a hold of some of his gold for mine. ;D ;D
