I have a set of new ZX14 TBs  .. are the C14 smaller ?  The zx14R are 44mm..

I just looked it up , the c14 are 40mm .... hummmmm might be some power with the zx14 44mm TB
Yes.  I dyno'd 161.5 RWHP.  There's more there, I believe that more air into the airbox is needed, but too lazy so far to further explore.

There's also the plugging the TBs where the secondary fly rod goes through, or knife edging the rod itself.  I want to say they have opened the TBs up to 48mm and did some polishing.  And of course, velocity stacks.  I can see 175 RWHP naturally aspirated before the ram air effect if only we can get the air to the TBs and a good tune.  When you speak/work with Guhls, ask them about upping the RPMs, color me wrong but I see no reason we can't get another 1k out of the motor.  But, it still comes down to air in.

Maybe I am dense, but those C14 numbers can't be the standard 1/4 mile trap.  So what are they?  Stock C14 is 0-100 MPH in 6.8 seconds.... but I don't think that is what you are reporting either (or you wouldn't be posting speeds of over 100).

From my research, the best stock 1/4mi number (which I believe and was repeated) is 10.76@126MPH.

It's a 1/8 mile track  ...Based on my 1/8 mile numbers the bike should run 10.50s in the 1/4 mile .. I will be testing at our 1/4 mile track soon and report back ..
